Waiting-on-replies tracker

Prompt
Every Monday at 9 AM Pacific for the next six weeks, check the email I sent in the past 30 days. Find threads where I asked a question or made a request, the last message is mine, and nobody has replied for at least five business days. Skip automated messages, newsletters, and threads I closed with a thank-you or a no-reply-needed note. For each one, write a short, friendly nudge that restates what I need and by when, and save it as a draft in the same thread. Don't send anything. In one message in ChatGPT, list each thread with the recipient, what I'm waiting on, and how many days it has been, oldest first. If nothing is overdue, say so in one line. Confirm the schedule.

Paste it into your dot's conversation in ChatGPT. Edit anything in [brackets] first.

How it works

  1. Connect your email through Plugins. Your dot needs to read sent mail and create drafts.
  2. In Settings > Personalization > Custom rules, set sending email to Ask before taking action.
  3. Adjust the day, time, time zone and the five-business-day threshold, then paste the prompt. Your dot should confirm the schedule.
  4. Review the list, edit the drafts you want to send, and send them yourself. Tell your dot about threads to stop tracking (“that vendor replied by phone”).

Pair it with draft-only inbox triage to cover both sides of your inbox.
